Douglas County sees first flu-related death

Douglas County officials say an elderly woman's flu-related death is the first of the season for the county. The Douglas County Health Department said Friday that the woman died this week after being hospitalized with flu complications. The woman was more than 65 years old and had underlying medical conditions. There have been now seven deaths statewide related to the flu this season.
