Quiet weekend for State Patrol special enforcement|
Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol Troop C-Grand Island made 86 enforcement contacts during a special enforcement effort this past weekend in Adams County. “It was a relatively quiet weekend,” said Captain Chris Kolb, Commander Troop C-Grand Island. “The goal of any special enforcement is voluntary compliance with traffic safety laws. We appreciate everyone’s help in making Nebraska roads, safe roads. ”During the two nights of special enforcement, troopers issued three speeding citations and one citation for no proof of insurance. One juvenile was cited for minor in possession of alcohol, and one citation and one warning were written for violation of the seat belt law.
